Two-Thirds of 2021 Champions Retain Their Title
– Eight teams took part in the 2022 Veterans Triples held at St Mary on 8th October. In the semi-finals, the winners of Group A, Paul Waters, Vanessa Nash & Alan Dunford took on the Group B runners-up, Brian Harris, Les Norman & Colin Myers, who had a relatively easy win at 13-2. Group B winners Mike Fennell, Keith White & Trevor Holden also had a comfortable win against the Group A runners-up, Derek & Joy Hart & Steve Foster.
The latter trio however fared better in the third place play-off, beating Paul, Vanessa & Alan 13-6. In the final, Brian, Les & Colin (replacing last years team member Gordon de Gruchy) convincingly retained the title 13-3.
