Pétanque Jersey needs umpires
During the year, there are at least 12 competitions in the island that should have an umpire in attendance. With only six active umpires, all of whom play regularly in competition, the JPA needs to recruit more umpires.
If any JPA member would be interested in training and qualifying as an umpire, please contact the JPA secretary, Elaine Paisnel at secjpa@gmail.com. Players who qualify will be expected to umpire at least once per annum. Once the demand for this course is known, dates will be set.
