Summer League 2023

Grantez make it Six in a row –

A re-scheduled match between Pink Elephants and Grantez which finished in the dark last night, saw Grantez take the Summer League Division One title for the sixth year in a row.

After the closely fought doubles, which did not finish until 8.30, Grantez were 4 – 0 up and as playing the remaining games would have made no difference and it was almost completely dark, Grantez were declared winners, champions and received a congratulatory hot drink and sausage roll.

Second in Division One are PES PC, and Beeches Old Boules finish third. La Hague Tigers and Country Gang are relegated.

In Division Two, Millennium Marauders finish top with, currently Les Papillons in second and Fleur de Lys third. However, both have one outstanding game to play and if Les Papillons lose and Fleur de Lys win, those positions will be reversed. With a promotion spot to play for, those games are important.

The trophies and medals will be presented at the next AGM.
