The 2025 European Veterans and Mens Triples competitions have taken place at Santa Susana, Spain, from 13th to 20th July.
First off was the Veterans and Jersey was represented by Katrina & Trevor Holden and Jean & Alex Stewart, with Geoffroy Buffetrille as Manager/Coach.
In their five preliminary rounds, the Jersey team recorded a win against Slovakia 13-5 but lost their other four games, despite playing well. In the Round of 16 they were up against Latvia and that’s where their campaign ended, with a 6-11 loss after being timed out.
Switzerland were the 2025 Champions, with England taking the Nations’ Cup. Full results can be seen at the CEP website (link on the Home page).
In the Men’s competition, Jersey were represented by Andy Bellamy-Burt, Toby Northern and Callum Stewart, with Geoffroy as Manager/Coach.
In their five preliminary games, they recorded wins over Slovakia and Guernsey (the latter after being 9-0 down to win 13-9) but lost against Andorra, Switzerland and Turkey.
They had a bye in the round of 32 and faced Bulgaria in the round of 16, where they lost 5-13, bringing their campaign to a close.
The 2025 Champions were Germany, with Israel winning the Nations Cup. Full results can be seen at the CEP website (link on the Home page).
