Jersey Second Again but Good Performance
– The 2026 Home Nations competition took place over the weekend of 8th & 9th August at the Sterling Wolves Pétanque Club.
England took the title with 64 wins, with Jersey second on 56, their highest number of wins apart from the two years that the competition was held in Jersey, and a big improvement on last year’s 46.
Top local team were Jersey One – Geoffroy Buffetrille, Laurent Pellaton & Neil Selby, with nine wins, also being third best team overall, behind two English teams. Jersey Two – John Lane, Matt Pinel & James Romeril were second best Jersey team with eight wins and also fifth in the overall standings.
