St Saviour Top Parish League

The Inter Parish Pétanque League has reached the half-way stage and four teams seem to be vying for the title, including reigning champions St Saviour. They took on leaders St Brelade at the Elephant Park in Round 11 and registered a crucial 4-2 away win which meant they went clear at the top of the table, pushing St Brelade down to fourth. However, they’re only a point clear of St Mary who registered another 4-2 win away at Lawrence. The other parish contesting the top four places, Grouville, had a welcome return to form after two successive defeats, beating St John 4-2 at Holme Grown, moving them into third place.
