JPA Knockout Cup 2023

Grantez take 2023 KO Cup –

The final of the 2023 JPA Knockout Cup took place on Saturday 9th December at a wet and windy Holmegrown terrains in Grouville.

PES PC took on Grantez and after the first two rounds of doubles, honours were even with Matt Pinel and Jeremy Grigg winning both their games and Ross Payne & Andy Bellamy-Burt and Callum Stewart & Joey Le Clech winning one each.

After the Triples was won by Grantez, PES needed to pull a spectacular Singles win out of the bag and although Andy netted a great win against Geoffroy Buffetrille at 13-11, it was not enough to redress the points difference, with Grantez taking the trophy three games all but 73 points to 46.

KO Cup winners Grantez – Matt Pinel, Toby Northern, Geoffroy Buffetrille & Jeremy Grigg

Runners-Up PES PC – Ross Payne, Andy Bellamy-Burt, Callum Stewart, Joey Le Clech & Alan Oliviera
