Jersey Fail to Retain Title
– It was always going to be an uphill struggle, to retain the title won so well in 2024, especially with the home team Wales, eager to make a strong showing and England bent on revenge. And so it proved, with Jersey putting up a creditable performance to squeeze second place, one win ahead of Wales, on 46 and 45 wins respectively but well short of England’s 70.
Top team, with an impressive 10 wins out of 12 were Jersey Two – Alan Oliviera, Toby Northern and Geoffroy Buffetrille, putting them 6th overall, the top five teams all England. Jersey One, James Rondel, John lane and Matt Pinel finished with 9 wins.
