European Cup for Clubs 2025

Liberation Take Bronze Second Year in a Row

– At the 2025 European Cup for Clubs, held from 6th to 9th November at Sin-le-Noble, France, Liberation Pétanque Club took bronze in the Federation Cup, repeating their achievement in 2024.

Clubs from 31 European Countries took part in the 27th EuroCup and Liberation had a great start, beating Serbia 24-7. There were then soundly beaten by Switzerland, who reached the semi-final of the main competition, before losing to Norway, meaning they went into the second tier of the event, the Federation Cup.

They beat Croatia 16-5 in the Round of 16 and had a good, if closer win against Hungary 18-13 in the quarter-final. They faced Latvia in the semi-final but lost 19-7 meaning that they replicated their performance from 2024, coming equal third in the Federation Cup.

Denmark won the Federation Cup event, with France taking the main Championship.
