2024 Champions Retain Tiltles
– The second of this year’s events took place at the JPC terrains on Saturday 7th June, with five women’s teams and ten mens teams taking part.
In the Women’s event, last year’s winners, Christine Eccles, Katrina Holden & Wendy Ritzema faced Danielle Alsop, Jennie Andrews & Margaret Robinson, the only team to win all their preliminary rounds games, in the final and won 13-6. Judy Dove, Joy Hart & Bridie Hunter came third.

In the men’s event, Group A winners, Andrew Bellamy-Burt, Laurent Pellaton & Jake Romeril played Group B runners-up James Gennoe, Ross Payne & Neil Selby and narrowly won 13-12.
Group B winners Ross Churchill, Derek Hart & Andy Limbrick faced Group A runners-up, Keith Boleat, Trevor Holden & Paul Waters losing 6-13. Ross, Derek & Andy won their 3/4 play-off 13-8.
The final saw Andy, Jake & Laurent retain their title 13-9.
The next event is the Island Mixed Doubles, at the JPC terrains at Les Quennevais on Saturday 5th July.
