Jersey Retain Inter-Insular Trophy
– The postponed 2024 Inter-Insular event took place in Guernsey on Sunday 22nd June.
The first (Singles) round saw Guernsey take a 7-5 lead but Jersey came back strongly in the first Doubles, taking five of the six games. In the second Doubles honours were even, 3-3 and Guernsey dominated the triples, winning three of the four games. This meant the teams were tied on match points 24-24; however a much better games points difference meant that Jersey retained the trophy they last won in 2023 by 30 points.
The 2025 event will be held in Jersey later in the year.
